Royal Palm Shred-a-thon
Neighbors, safely get rid of your personal information (like tax returns, business records, etc.) at the Royal Palm Shred-a-thon on Saturday, May 6th from 1 - 3 p.m. at Royal Palm Park. Your confidential information will be shredded for free by PD Shred which will ensure your documents are destroyed securely and your privacy is protected. PD Shred also recycles the shredded paper, which helps the environment. While the service is free to Royal Palm residents, Royal Palm Neighborhood welcomes and appreciates any and all monetary donations.
Items containing personal and private information are ideal for drop-off. Stay in your vehicle, but make sure that your trunk and back doors are unlocked and easy for volunteers to open quickly. Boxes and bags should be easy to lift to keep our volunteers safe from lifting injuries. Boxes, bags, and transport containers will be given back to the attendees.
OK: Staples, paper clips, metal binder clips, 2-prong metal thingies like used on medical charts, spiral bindings, a handful of CDs/box, envelopes including clasp envelopes, manilla folders, paper and cardboard of all sorts.
NOT OK: Pendaflex or other hanging file folders, floppy disks, 3-ring notebooks, electronics.
